About Me

- Name: Mike
- Location: Lebanon, New Hampshire, United States
I've been a professional writer for 30 years and have worked in television, radio and newspapers, as well as writing for advertising agencies and magazines. I maintain a site, www.comicstripoftheday.com, which is updated daily and takes much of my attention, though I still blog here when I have something to say. I'm also a dogowner, a dad and grandfather and, like apparently 40 percent of the people on this planet, a writer of children's stories. Most days, this blog should reflect some of that.

I had read that he was returning the award, but hadn't seen this video. Thanks for bringing it to my attention.
Fareed Zakaria is one of the most intelligent voices in America today, yet in the endless echo chamber that is political discourse-cum-hysteria today, it seems nobody is discussing his interviews and his video editorials. It frustrated me enough to blog about it earlier.
Maybe somebody will pay attention to him now.
